Maybelline Hyper Gloss Liquid Liner in Hot Pink and Tangerine Orange Review, Swatches

Actually, when I go much time to Maybelline counter, I always curious about this liquid liner. And plan to bought it, and fortunately mba tya gave me, so I’m so excited to try. Thank you so much mba tya :* 

This Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Line have 5 shades : Turquoise Blue, Tangerine Orange, Hot Pink, Navy Blue, Khaki Green. I got it in shade Pink and Tangerine Orange. Let’s check them out ;) 

The packaging :

Like much of liquid liner, this Maybelline Hyper Glossy liquid liner comes with a black pot and the applicator. The applicator it self it’s a dip brush tip. Some people love the dip brush tip, some people doesn’t.

 

Because if you are have a shaky hand, using dip brush tip will make you a little make frustrated. LOL. The cheat technique to use dip brush tip, it just to dab softly the tip, and you can fill the empty space in the ends. 

Swatches :

You will know what Maybelline called this liquid liner “Hyper Glossy”. Because after I applied the liner in hands, the liner will dry quickly. And you can see the colors are so POP and GLOSSY. Love it!! (I hope I can find tangerine lipstick just like the colors show of this tangerine orange shade >.<) 

Staying power : 

I try to smudge the liner. And what happens are the liquid liner stay strong, even I try hard to smudge it. 

So I test for the water. When I flow the waters  in my hands, the colors are still show. But, when I smudge it, the colors gone. Oh.

And that test makes me more curious. So I try the second test. I draw the liner again in my hands, and then I flow the waters back. 

But, in this time I don’t smudge it. I only use tissues and dabbing it to absorbs the waters from my hands. What happens are, the colors disappear a little bit. 

When my hands and the liner dry, I try to smudge it. The colors disappear a little bit more. 

So in my opinion, this liquid liner are smudgeproof as long as they don’t touched by water. The solution if you use this liquid liner in the hot weathers, you just have to dab your sweat in the eye area, to make the minimize disappear of this liquid liner. 

Pros :

• Reasonable price. It only cost you Rp 50.000 (about 5 USD)
• Smudgeproof
• The colors are so POP and GLOSSY 
• Highly recomended for everyone are seeking for colorful liquid liner 

Cons :

• Not waterproof
• Tricky to use if you are not familiar with dip brush tip 

Repurchase?

Yes. I want to try in another shade ^^
